It’s believed by some that pairs represent the concept of double the goodness. Not sure who it’s believed by but we’re backing it. We’re twin brothers Boyd and Cam Steel from Muriwai beach and together we are Double Parked.
Background
We have spent close to the last 10 years cooking, travelling and eating our way around Europe. Working in a variety of restaurants as well as cooking and working as guides with the travelling Contiki tour.
That’s where our passion for food really started.
We have returned to share the recipes we loved with the people at home.
Double Parked has been a Dream of ours to bring back a little European flavor to add to some Aotearoa goodness.
Our Food
We are a black board food truck. That means our food will always be changing. We have a large menu that we will draw off and will always be adding too. It doesn’t mean we always have all that food available it’s just showing you what we can do.

We try use to source as many local suppliers as possible.
All our packaging is compostable. (Give it back to us we will get it commercially composted).
